Description
Going into Winter from Fall was just such a punch in the stomach this year. So I started with that image and built from there.
Spring is really nice. Not too hot, not too cold. Sometimes rainy. But pretty short.
Then summer, which feels FOREVER. GAH.
Then Fall, which is also nice (aside from the Fall mosquitoes), but that doesn't last more than a month or so before BAM one day it goes from 80 degrees to 60. (EDIT: My husband informs me it was probably more than that, since we were in shorts and sweating and by the next day we had the kotatsu and all the winter things out. And this is only the beginning of winter, so that all you all in snow don't feel that I'm whining, it gets to around freezing here. So, going from over 100 to zero in 4 months is pretty harsh.)
And you actually feel like winter is punching you as you walk outside. And you know it's going to drop to at LEAST 30 by the time January rolls around. So, winter hangs out, with freezing rain and wind, from late October to probably March or so. BLEH. not looking forward to it.
