ToaG: Worries by TriaElf9 ToaG: Worries by TriaElf9
Apologies are a common thing to hear on the train. Heck, if the trains are just a little bit off schedule, they just apologize profusely for the rest of the trip.

Problem is, some things like weather or a person-related incident can stop whole tracks, or divert trains, or change their speed from stopping at the stations you expect to some different stations. So, if you miss part of the message, or it's later in the day and they just give a vague apology, your brain starts to panic WILDLY about what's happened and do you need to keep listening. Are you on the right train. etc. ^_^;;

Enjoy!

ha ha no apologizes here if its late, well too damn bad, the only time the apologized was when we were right there when an accident happened and it was more like we are sorry to tell you the train will be delay. goodbye. Its like wait what? for how long? really? and its always in a monotoned voice, I'm always waiting to yell, you don't sound sorry!

I miss that. In Philly, the trains are a lot like in New York and basically just show up whenever the fuck they feel like.

Man, I wish they'd apologise more often for late trains here, I never know what's going on and if they do apologise, it's so quiet you can't even hear it. :

When I was in Norway, the introduction and stops were in both Norwegian and English, but when we were delayed they spoke in only Norwegian. My friends and I had to ask someone what was going on.

That would freak me out. Apologies are pretty easy to understand even in keigo, so I'd be worried I just hadn't understood something else...
