So, I got two assignments done today for my Kodansha manga school, since I've been super busy and unable to get anything done for the last three months or so.
I had to hand ink and color this with copic markers 'cause the assignment was to make a fake cover with original characters, but on B4 size paper, which is huge and my printer can't print. Soooo had to do it traditionally. I based it on this postcard picture I did a while back: [link]
So I guess I can count it as a redo of some sort ^_^ I'm definietly better at people and stuff now, compared to then, but not that much better at copics. But as I never use them, that's not too surprising. And the title will be in Japanese when I eventually turn it in ^_^;;
Anyway, though you might like this. Might post the page I did for practicing speedlines and sound effects if I can find a way of shrinking it without making it horrible ^_^;;;
Sorry the colors aren't great, the scanner is all weird and hates copics or something.
oh man, I suuuuck at backgrounds. airbrush is what I should be using, but I don't use them enough to buy one ^_^;; Just look at other drawings and keep on trying ^_^;;;
have you used the copic air brush? sounds cool in theory but then i think of how expensive the markers are, and that they are fueled by them...sounds like bankruptcy haha
my mom offered to buy me one and i said she was insane...the wors par is the gun is only about 6 bucks...they rope you in with a cheap gun and then take you for all your worth
TOTALLY
