ToaG: City vs. Country

Good thing I’m starting to learn local old person dialect in my area ^_^ They speak Mikawa-ben here, but there’s also Nagoya-ben in the area as well ^_^;; 

It’s one of my pet peeves tho, I’d rather people try Japanese with me first (otherwise, how will I learn??) or being automatically handed the English menu at a restaurant (yes, I can read Japanese, but at least they could ask first rather than assuming). Some of those little things that get under the skin after 6 or more years ^_^ But we live mostly in the country, so thankfully it’s not as bad ^_^ Just something that occurred to me again about why I like the country so much ^_^
